| Our Livery company was conceived by the late Eric Walter Francis Hill and supported by 43 friends and colleagues from across a broad spectrum of the cleaning Industry. Initially, it was formed as the Guild of Cleaners on 22nd October, 1972. Subsequently known as the Guild of Master Cleaners, it was granted full Livery Status by the Court of Aldermen as The Worshipful Company of Environmental Cleaners, the 97th Livery Company of the City of London, on 22nd October, 1986. |
